Chris Yancey, a cornerback in 2008, was the first player to wear 19.
Clesmie Burden, a starting wide receiver, wore 19 in 2010. He sort of resembles Drake. Standing 6-4, Clesmie was adept at using his long frame to snare balls from out of the air.
Against Eisenhower in the 1st round, he scored on a 93-yard touchdown pass, the longest play from scrimmage in Cy Woods history. Clesmie also competed for the Wildcats during track season, specializing in the hurdles. He was a regional qualifer in the 110m hurdles as a junior and I offered to take him to Waco (no joke).... but then I forgot that I had an AP exam that day. (Remember... at that time, Cy Woods, and the rest of Cy-Fair ISD, was in Region II. So, the regional track meet was in Waco.)
After Cy Woods, Clesmie signed with West Texas A&M and eventually transferred to the University of Houston, but he did not appear in a game for either school.

Zach Brown, a cornerback, made the varsity in 2011, his junior year, and took this number. He missed his junior year due to an injury and returned as a backup in 2012. His younger brother, Blake, is a junior linebacker for the Wildcats.
