David Lawson, a wide receiver, wore 14 in 2009. He was a transfer from Cy Springs. His younger brothers were also involved with Cy Woods athletics in various capacities: Davonne (class of 2013) was a student trainer from 2009-13, and Justin (class of 2015) was a defensive back in 2014.
David also ran track for the Wildcats; he specialized in the 400 and also ran the 4x400 relay. He once held the school record in the open 400.

Brooks Rosandich was a late-season callup in 2011, his junior year. Brooks was a quarterback, but moved over to safety in 2012.

Keith Watson, a linebacker, was assigned #14 when he was called up in 2013, his sophomore year. He switched to #44 in 2014.

Josh Robbins, a cornerback, wore 14 in 2014.
Jack Barrientez, a running back/wide receiver, made the varsity in 2015, his sophomore year. After playing a bit part in the first half of that season, he took on a more prominent role in the offense, especially towards the end. He switched to #5 in 2016.
Eron Vanduren, a cornerback, wore #14 in 2016.
Quincy Boone, an A-back, wore #14 in 2017.

Gavin Snow, a linebacker, made the varsity in 2018, his junior season. He was primarily a backup in his first season but emerged to seize a starting role as a senior in 2019 and earned Honorable Mention All-District 14-6A honors.
