Cy Woods All-Time Roster: Number 18

18 begins with probably the greatest quarterback in Cy Woods history.

Colton Huntsman was promoted to the varsity in 2008, his sophomore year, following an injury to Lucas DeVilliers. He got the start against Cy Springs and provided Wildcat fans with an electrifying glimpse of the future, then remained with the varsity for the rest of that season as Lucas's understudy. Colton switched to 10 in 2009 as he was given the reins to the Wildcat offense and eventually became one of the greats from the early days of Cy Woods football. More on him when I get to 10.

Tyler Goff, a wide receiver, wore 18 in 2009. He was also known as Mighty Mouse.

Gabriel West, also known as Thor and Tarzan, was promoted to the varsity for the 2009 playoffs and served as Colton Huntsman's backup in 2010, his junior season. Gabe took the reins in 2011 and while he wasn't as electrifying as Colton, he was a dependable performer for the Wildcats who made very few mistakes. Gabe was selected to serve as a team captain as a senior in 2011. His brother was a Marine, and he has also answered the call to serve, joining the Navy.

Cameron Jones, a wide receiver, wore 18 in the 2014 season. He moved to Cy Woods from Florida before his freshman year. Cam also played basketball and ran track for a couple of years at Cy Woods.

Josh Carter, a backup wide receiver, wore #18 in 2015.

Tre Minix, a cornerback, wore #18 after he returned to Cy Woods. Tre had a pretty circuitous route in high school: he started high school at Cy Woods, then transferred to Pope John XXIII in Katy as a sophomore, then spent two years at Katy. Tre was a receiver at Katy during his senior season and then moved to corner when he came back to Cy Woods.
