Cy Woods All-Time Roster: Number 13

Brent Peavy, a quarterback, made the varsity in 2008, his junior year. After Colton Huntsman vaulted past him in the pecking order at QB, he and his identical twin brother, Cameron, transferred to St. Pius X. They both went on to play at Texas Lutheran, a Division III school in Seguin. There, Brent re-wrote the record books. Brent is now a math teacher in Cy-Fair ISD.

Zac Creach, also known as "Creacher Boy," another Coach Neill nickname, was the backup quarterback in 2009.

Nate German, a quarterback, was given this jersey in 2010, his sophomore year, but he was mainly a JV player that season. He became a full-time varsity player as a junior in 2011 and platooned with Gabe West. Nate was expected to start in 2012, but his season ended early due to a shoulder injury. He performed well when healthy, so that attracted the attention of colleges. He also served as the punter in his two full seasons on the varsity. After Cy Woods, he played at Rice as a wide receiver. He planned on playing at West Virginia as a graduate transfer but an injury nixed that plan.

Tyler Greaves, a linebacker, made the varsity in 2013, his junior year. He was a wide receiver as a JV player. After getting an increase in playing time as the 2013 season went on, he became a starter in 2014 and was a second-team All-District 17-6A performer. I'm fairly sure that he led the Wildcats in tackles during the 2014 season. He played alongside his younger brother, Austin, in 2013 and 2014.

Austin Goffney, a quarterback, made the varsity in 2015, his junior year. He played in two games before transferring to Cy Ranch. I don't know Austin personally, so I don't know the circumstances that resulted in his transfer. That's not really any of my business, either.

Sean Despres, another quarterback, took #13 after his callup midway through the 2015 season. His older brother, Seth, was a wide receiver in 2015. He moved over to linebacker as a senior in 2016 and switched to #7.

Cameron Sowell, a wide receiver, made the varsity as a sophomore in 2017. He also played some safety that season but he is primarily a receiver. He switched to #2 in 2018.

Colton Morris, a linebacker, made the varsity in 2018, his junior year, and was mainly a backup that season. He became a starter in 2019 and led the Wildcats with 70 tackles, earning 2nd-team All-District 14-6A honors.

Colton will continue his football career at Southern Nazarene University, a Division II school located in Bethany, Oklahoma, just outside of Oklahoma City.
