Andrew Klink made the first varsity team in his junior year. I always remembered that after he missed an extra point, he would literally send the ensuing kickoff into orbit. One example of this was when he put a ball on top of the field house at Pridgeon against Cy Springs in 2008.
Andrew previously the held the Cy Woods record for points scored by a kicker with 134 until Luis Reyes broke it in 2015. Andrew also played fĂștbol for the Wildcats. After Cy Woods, he kicked and punted at Austin College, a Division III school located in Sherman.

Deoundrei Davis, an outside linebacker, was promoted to the varsity in 2010, his sophomore year, and was given this number. He eventually became a true impact player for the Wildcats and became the highest-profile player for the Wildcats in terms of recruiting (to this point). He was rated as the #10 outside linebacker in the nation by 247Sports for the class of 2013, a top-150 recruit by ESPN and was selected as a U.S. Army All-American.
Unfortunately, Deoundrei missed much of his senior season due to a torn ACL. He signed with the University of Texas, but redshirted his freshman year as he rehabbed that knee injury. He did not appear in a game for the Longhorns.
