First up in the 20s is number 29.
Ryan Hernandez, a safety in 2009, was the first Wildcat to wear 29. He had 2 interceptions against Jersey Village that year and also played baseball at Cy Woods. His stepbrother, Ryan Bruce, and his biological brother, Brent, also played football for the Wildcats. Ryan Bruce was a cornerback in 2009, while Brent played as a defensive end in 2012. Brent also followed him by playing baseball at Cy Woods.

The next Wildcat to wear 29 was Justin Gallegos, a cornerback in 2010.

Xavier Banks, a safety, wore #29 when he was called up in 2011, his junior year. He switched to #7 in 2012.
Elijah Kinnison originally wore #29 to begin the 2013 season, but switched to #47 about halfway through the year.
