Andrew Hopwood, a backup offensive lineman in 2008, was the first to wear 65. He mainly played as a guard.

Dylan Thompson made the varsity in 2009, his junior year, and was a starting defensive tackle. Against Skyline in 2009, Dylan came up with a huge interception that set up the game-winning touchdown for Cy Woods.
In 2010, his senior year, Dylan switched back to his old position, middle linebacker, switched to #48, and was selected as a team captain.

Because Dylan switched to #48 in 2010, the #65 jersey was made available that year, and Robert Contreras, a backup offensive lineman, took it.

Robbie Beardmore, a guard, wore #65 in 2013. He got a start against Cy-Fair (if I remember correctly) and eventually became a full-time starter that year. I don't think he's related to Colton and Connor Beardmore; the fact that they share the same last name may be purely coincidental.

Andrew Gonzalez, a guard, was assigned this number upon his promotion to the varsity in 2014, his junior year. He was the only offensive lineman called up that year. He transferred out of Cy Woods as a senior.
Joaquin Garza, a tackle, wore #65 in 2016.
