Matt Alcala was the starting right tackle in 2009. But, he took a rather circuitous route to the offensive line: if I remember correctly, he went to Goodson, but then he moved to Los Angeles before freshman year. Matt moved back to Cy Woods before our sophomore year and was a cornerback on the JV Gold (B) team. He then moved to defensive end as a junior on the JV Cardinal (A) team as a junior, and finally, he became an offensive lineman as a senior.

Trevor Rogas made the varsity in 2012, his junior year, and was a two-year starter at left tackle. Trevor is also adept at handling a bow; he is an accomplished archer and is a bow hunter in his spare time.

Tyron Lewis made the varsity in 2017, his sophomore year. He moved to Cincinnati afterwards and then came back to Houston.
