Dylan Parmely, a backup receiver in 2008, was the first to wear 81. Dylan is another former Wildcat in the military; he joined the Marines after graduating from Woods and was stationed in Japan until 2012.

The next player to wear 81 was Andrew Wells, another backup receiver, in 2009.

Austin Vaughn wore 81 in 2011. He also ran the 400 during track season.

The most recent Wildcat to wear 81 for an entire season was Garner Bussell in 2012.

Tanner Fitzgerald, a linebacker, wore 81 in 2014, but he missed most of the season due to an injury. He also played as a goaltender for the Wildcat hockey team.
Cullen Sherrill, a wide receiver, made the varsity in 2016, his sophomore year; his identical twin brother, Tanner, also made varsity that year. The Sherrills also played baseball at Cy Woods and they decided to focus on baseball as seniors.

Ryan Faulk, a wide receiver, made the varsity as a sophomore in 2018. He's also a shortstop for the Wildcat baseball team. His older brother, Connor, was a three-year letterman in football for the Wildcats; he was a wide receiver from 2016 to 2018.
