This number was never issued to anyone, probably because of the connotation it carries. However, Morgan Tosten was the first Wildcat to wear this jersey for a full season. He was originally a linebacker and when he was called up to the varsity in 2013, his junior year, he was assigned #40. He switched to defensive end as a senior and formed a fine partnership with his classmates, Justyn Johnson and Randall Medlin. Morgan joined the Navy after graduating from Cy Woods.
