Cy Woods All-Time Roster: Number 91

The countdown continues with number 91.

Taylor Williams, a backup nose tackle, was the first to wear this jersey in 2008.

Next to wear the #91 was one of the smartest Cats to ever put on the uniform, and (in my opinion) a great guy all around, Cyrus Iqbal. He moved to Cy Woods from New York before sophomore year, and I admit that I did not have a very positive first impression of him. I thought he ran his mouth quite a bit and really needed to just stop talking altogether.

Maybe it's because he's from New York (Syosset, on Long Island, to be exact), I dunno. But on a serious note, Cyrus is truly one of the most brilliant people that I have had the pleasure of knowing. I always remembered that we'd talk nonstop about sports during chemistry and lunch. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (petroleum engineering, pre-med) and is now studying at Baylor College of Medicine.

Dylan Hurt was the next player to wear #91, in 2010.

After wearing #92 in his first season as a varsity player, Jordan Cipriani switched to 91 for his final two seasons on the varsity. He was another one of the many talented defensive linemen who came through the program during the early days of the Wildcats. Jordan was a 2nd-team All-District performer as a junior in 2011.

After not being issued in 2013, the 91 jersey returned to action in 2014 with Jaycee Miller, a nose tackle.

Adrian Garcia wore #91 in 2015. He was mainly a defensive end, but he also played some nose tackle for the Wildcats. Deon Jones was a backup defensive end in 2016.
